Maine Music Teachers Association

Pop-Up Events
After our inaugural Pop Up Event of “Four Hands and a Mug” in April 2026, we are thrilled to share our plans for future events! Our goal is to spark connection and community among teachers across Maine through low-key, locally hosted gatherings.
Volunteer to Host an Event
To make this happen, we’re looking for volunteers to host events around the state on the designated weekends. Choose a date, time, and location that works for you, and feel free to put your own creative spin on the theme—whatever inspires you.
Email Carrie Clement at carrieclement@gmail.com by the listed deadline with your proposed details (date, time, location, and any helpful notes). Once plans are set, we’ll share the schedule with members. Interested teachers will contact you directly to participate.
These events are designed to be simple and cost-free to host, with no fee for MaineMTA members to attend. We ask non-members to contribute $10 per event, paid to the host, who will then forward the funds to the state treasurer. Checks should be made payable to MaineMTA.

Concert Companion Month
