MTNA National Conference
The Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) National Conference, held annually, brings together the most representative cross-section of the MTNA membership. Evening recitals, a keynote speaker and master classes will be among the headlining events at this premier conference for studio music teachers.
Arrive a day early to take advantage of the Pedagogy Saturday tracks. There will also be all the exhibit hall, showcases and the MTNA Competitions.
The 2027 conference will be held in St. Louis, Missouri, April 2 - 6, 2027.
The 2028 conference will be held in Providence Rhode Island, March 11 - 15, 2028.
2026 Conference in Chicago
Seven Members of MaineMTA attended the Music Teachers National Association 2026 National Conference in Chicago. The week was filled with excellent sessions, thoughtful conversations, and beautiful performances.
The greatest honor of the conference was receiving the MTNA State Affiliate of the Year Award. This recognition belongs to our members and reflects the dedication, creativity, and care that MaineMTA members bring to students and to one another across our state.
MTNA’s new mission statement was woven throughout the conference: MTNA enriches lives, strengthens communities, and furthers quality music instruction by empowering music teachers through lifelong learning.
The Maine attendees returned home grateful to be part of a national organization that truly values its affiliates and inspired by the work we are doing together here in Maine.
